Bayer Leverkusen duo Admir Mehmedi and Lars Bender have expressed their frustration at being unable to beat Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs were reliant on goalkeeper Hugo Lloris to keep the German side at bay in the second-half of their Champions League Group E encounter on Tuesday night, having dominated the first period of the contest.
Mehmedi himself saw a goal-bound effort tipped around the post by the French stopper, while Lloris also pulled off another incredible save to deny former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez.

Both Mehmedi and Bender were unhappy that they were unable to break the deadlock in the tie.
