Tottenham's pursuit of Ilaix Moriba has been shut down after the 18-year-old Barcelona rebel chose to sign for RB Leipzig instead, according to reports.
The crumbling Catalan club were starting to get excited by the latest prodigy off their La Masia production line last season, when Moriba impressed in a run of late-season opportunities granted by Ronald Koeman.
The midfielder's deal runs-out next summer but talks have collapsed so dramatically the club banished him from both their first-team and reserve squads.
Moriba reportedly met with Tottenham, who Barca were willing to accept a £13m bid from, but the teen wasn't convinced by playing Europa Conference football and the role he'd play under Nuno Espirito Santo, Spanish paper Sport report.
