Aston Villa 0-4 Tottenham: Son Heung-min completes a scintillating hat-trick as Antonio Conte's men run riot for the second weekend in a row to boost their hopes of clinching top-four spot and condemn Aston Villa to a fourth successive defeat

Son Heung-min scored a brilliant hat-trick as Tottenham recorded a fourth consecutive victory and moved closer towards achieving their Champions League goal.

The Korean struck early and after overworked goalkeeper Hugo Lloris had made seven saves to keep the visitors ahead at half-time, Spurs sealed the points through Dejan Kulusevski with Son adding two more.

The result leaves Antonio Conte’s fourth-place side controlling their destiny for the first time, three points ahead of Arsenal with a much better goal difference, having played a game more.

More to follow.

The South Korean celebrated his hat-trick joyfully with his team-mates, with the goal effectively killing the game as a contest
