Antonio Rudiger 'will NOT open talks on a new Chelsea deal until after the Euros this summer with Germany defender still wary after losing his spot in the starting XI under Frank Lampard'

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has told the club he is not interested in opening talks over a new contract until after Euro 2020.

The 28-year-old has revived his Blues career until Thomas Tuchel, being almost ever-present since the former PSG boss took over.

But with 15 months left to run on a contract that Chelsea are keen to extend, Rudiger has informed the club that discussions will not start until the European Championships are over, according to The Athletic.
