Anthony Joshua's fight against Kubrat Pulev will be bumped back to October at the earliest ahead of a possible double showdown with Tyson Fury in 2021.
The WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight champion's promoter Eddie Hearn has confirmed to Sportsmail that the chances of a fight with Fury before the end of the year are almost impossible, contrary to recent suggestions.
That situation puts the focus back on IBF mandatory challenger Pulev, who was due to meet Joshua on June 20 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with subsequent plans pencilled in for July 25 amid the chaos of the coronavirus.
