Anthony Gordon is on the verge of signing a new long-term contract with Everton to fend off potential offers from rival Premier League clubs in January.
Gordon, 21, was the subject of interest from Chelsea and Tottenham over the summer, with the former even seeing a £45million bid rejected by the Toffees.
The youngster attracted attention from both clubs following a superb 2021/22 campaign in which he played a crucial role in Everton's dramatic escape from the Premier League relegation battle.
Frank Lampard was desperate to keep him at Goodison Park last summer and, as a result, the Merseyside club rejected an approach from Chelsea for their academy graduate on two separate occasions.
