Angel Di Maria has confirmed that he will not be extending his stay at Juventus past the 2022/2023 campaign in a heartfelt goodbye message to the fans.
The 35-year-old joined the Italian giants last summer on a one year deal with an option to extend his contract for a further twelve months.
However, Di Maria will be moving on to pastures new after a frustrating season plagued by injuries.
Juventus recorded their worst league finish in 11 years (7th place) during Di Maria's stay and the Argentine star admits that he departs the Allianz Arena with a 'bitter taste in his mouth' having been unable to guide the club back to their former glories.
