Ange Postecoglou insists he 'won't be holding anyone to account' after Tottenham's error-strewn damning defeat at Wolves - as defiant manager brushes off mistakes as a 'bit unusual'

Ange Postecoglou refused to blame his Tottenham players for the individual errors which littered the heavy defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

'Mistakes are part of the game, I won’t be holding anyone to account,' said the Spurs boss at Molineux. 'It’s not like they’re doing it on purpose, so you have an understanding.

'I’d probably be more frustrated if it was something we did from a tactical or organisational perspective.'

Postecoglou backed his goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario who made a shaky start to the game, at fault for the opener by Rayan Ait-Nouri and an own goal by Djed Spence, which gave Wolves a 2-0 lead.
