Marseille manager Andre Villas-Boas has offered his resignation after the French club signed Olivier Ntcham when he didn't want him.
In an extraordinary press conference on Tuesday, former Chelsea and Tottenham boss Villas-Boas claimed he 'just wants to leave Marseille.'
It follows a turbulent week in which furious supporters marched to the club's training ground to protest about poor results.
They threw flares, setting fire to trees, and tried to storm the complex, forcing the postponement of Marseille's match against Rennes.
The club then signed midfielder Ntcham on loan from Celtic on deadline day but Villas-Boas says he didn't ask for the player and now wants to leave his post.
