As the Raptors’ shooting woes have mounted and the team has dipped under .500, fans have another worry: French fries.
The Raptors have run a promotion with McDonald’s the last four seasons where fans get free medium fries if the team sinks 12 three-pointers in a game.
“This season, it feels like it never happens,” fan Yonis Badar says. “It feels like you'll never get it.”
The Raptors made 12 three-pointers or more in 48 games last season, shooting 34.9 per cent from deep and averaging 11.9 makes per game. They entered Friday having hit 12 just nine times in 28 games this year.
