To little surprise, the Raptors have seen another assistant coach depart, clearing the slate even more for new head coach Darko Rajakovic to work with.
Rico Hines, a skills development coach who spent one season with the Raptors and best known here for organizing high-level summer scrimmages in Los Angeles, announced on his Instagram feed Wednesday that he’s leaving Toronto to join Nick Nurse in Philadelphia.
It was hardly earth-shattering news because the Raptors have been clearing the coaching ranks since April to allow Nurse’s replacement to build his own team.
