What was the tipping point in this odd Raptors season? A little bit of everything

It’s not just coaching, it’s not just playing. It isn’t all talent or injuries. And you can’t chalk it entirely up to flawed roster construction.

It’s all of those things and probably a couple others that likely lie far below the surface, but as the curtain closes on the Raptors regular season Sunday, one fact is not in dispute: This group as presently constructed just hasn’t worked.

It didn’t play well enough, often enough. It played poorly at crucial moments far too often and there was never any traction to the season. The Raptors’ longest winning streak was only four games and that equally spanned the weeklong all-star break.
