After being locked in a stalemate for nearly a month, the Houston Rockets and Clint Capela have finally agreed to terms on a long-term contract. The deal is five years and worth between $86-$90 million, depending on incentives.
For Capela, the deal provides long-term security to a player who has only earned about $6 million in his career thus far.
For the Houston Rockets, it’s an absolute steal. The team locks up one of the top-10 centers in the NBA for approximately the same price as Bismack Biyombo.
