Anthony Davis is going to play
The New Orleans Pelicans planned on sitting Anthony Davis out for the rest of the season in order to 1) tank and 2) make sure he doesn’t injure himself. The NBA league office was having none of that.
The league requires players to be active if healthy, a rule that is selectively enforced. Sitting out in order to tank is not a valid excuse, and as a result, Anthony Davis will suit up for the New Orleans Pelicans the rest of the season.
