In case you’ve been living under a rock, the Toronto Raptors are currently mired in an uninspired stretch that has exposed the fundamental cracks of an experimentally put together roster. When Toronto plays hard and communicates on the defensive end and they hit their shots from deep and they get out in transition and they control the glass, they’re as close to a lock for a win as you can get. An astute reader would notice that there are a lot of “and’s” in that previous sentence and that’s how the team you support ends up with a middling record at the mid-point of the season.
