The need for speed in the NBA is as pressing as it ever been in Danny Green’s 10 years in the league.

When Green broke into the professional game as a 22-year-old in 2009, more teams tried to slow things down and play inside. Today, going full throttle is becoming more common.

“Every team now is trying to get up and down and play small ball and be more perimeter-oriented,” Green said.
