It’s been almost one year to the date since Toronto city council gave the go-ahead to the Toronto Raptors to build a training facility at Exhibition Place.
The $30-million building is a quick 10-minute drive from the Air Canada Centre and near a major highway for the Raptors 905 players to quickly head back to Mississauga for a game. More important than the commute time is the fact it allows the players more room to train and work in. The new complex will include two regulation-sized NBA courts, the Air Canada Centre only had one and will update their current athletic training room and full hydrotherapy zone.
