Toronto Raptors Lose to Boston Celtics 95-93

In a throwback to April 4th’s heartbreak, the Toronto Raptors lost in the dying second of their clash with the Boston Celtics tonight (95-93). They needed heroics, and the usual contributors couldn’t make it happen. The setback is significant for the Raptors in several, equally disappointing ways.

First, with the Chicago Bulls crushing Brooklyn on April 3rd (113-86), the Raps are now a full game back of third place. Hope is not fully gone, since the Raptors will play the Charlotte Hornets tomorrow, whereas the Bulls will have to finish their season against the Eastern Conference leading Atlanta Hawks.
