Word came mid-Monday that the “Clash of the Titans” would be played without each team’s respective titan as the Raptors decided to rest Kawhi Leonard in the first game of a back-to-back, while Giannis Antetokounmpo sat out due to concussion protocol. The shorthanded Raptors were also without Fred VanVleet (turf-toe) and OG Anunoby (personal).
The Milwaukee Bucks outplayed a lackluster, shorthanded Toronto team, who could not contain a Bucks attack, in a 124-109 blowout.
The defensive-minded Bucks started strong offensively, attacking the paint as the Raptors struggled to contain the dribble.
