The Toronto Raptors are rolling. Their win against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night improved their overall record to 5-0, tied for the best start in franchise history.
With a theoretically* easy game at home against the Dallas Mavericks up next, Toronto is well positioned to break that record.
In Wednesday night’s contest, the Raptors jumped out to an early lead and (pretty much) never looked back. Minnesota’s only lead lasted for just over 20 seconds, and they typically trailed by 5-10 points throughout the contest.
That doesn’t mean this game was drama-free. Early in the fourth, the Raptors increased their lead to 17.
