The Toronto Raptors were down three major pieces against the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night. OG Anunoby, Delon Wright, and Fred VanVleet all were forced to miss the game, leaving Nick Nurse with a shell of his typical roster. Didn’t matter. The Raptors beat the Mavericks 116-107 in a game that never felt that close.
The win improves Toronto to 6-0, the best start in franchise history. The Raptors are also one of just four remaining unbeaten teams, and the only team currently with six wins.
The game started as well as the Raptors could have hoped.
