With just the 59th overall pick, the Toronto Raptors were very limited in what they could do in the NBA draft. However, after selecting Dewan Hernandez, the team has also reportedly elected to bring in undrafted free-agent Sagaba Konate.
Konate is a 6’8″, athletic powerforward who just turned 22 a couple of months ago. He’s raw, older than most prospects, and just missed nearly all last season with an injury. He grew up playing soccer and didn’t start playing basketball until he was 19. — in other words a Masai Ujiri special
Konate isn’t near ready to play on an NBA court at this time.
