If you were the Toronto Raptors at the start of the season, you were probably quite confident that Pascal Siakam was going to make a jump this season. He had been working on his shot and his handles in the off-season, so an improvement was certainly on the horizon.
A high energy guy, who could run the floor in transition and attack the rim on cuts: that was the extent of his offensive prowess last season. He showed some flashes as a passer, with little hand-offs and smart dump offs underneath the basket, and he averaged two assists per game in 2017-18.
