Following on from their promising start to the season, the Toronto Raptors hosted the Detroit Pistons – and former coach Dwane Casey – on the back of an ugly win against the Orlando Magic on Monday night.
The Raptors defense shone through against the Magic, but the offense looked clunky at times, with long scoreless stretches plaguing the team. However, the Raptors showed up in the clutch moments and put the game to bed, winning 104-95.
Next up for the Raptors would be the 2-2 Detroit Pistons, who would be looking to build upon their 2018-19 season, which saw them make the playoffs for the first time since the 2015-16 season.
