Jack Armstrong’s face lights up as he reaches for his phone to show the screensaver: a picture of his three adult sons impeccably dressed in suits, flashing wide smiles.
“As a parent of three adopted children, I couldn’t love a biological son or daughter any more than I love my three kids,” says the colourful Raptors television analyst.
He’s held the broadcast job for nearly 25 years and spends significantly more time in Canada than his home south of the border. Contrary to popular belief, and despite some calls to award him the Order of Canada, he’s still not a Canadian citizen.
