There’s no place like home. That is what it felt like at the Air Canada Centre in downtown Toronto on Thursday as Pickering, Ontario native Cory Joseph was officially introduced as a Raptor. Plastered to the ACC’s outside were huge pictures of Joseph (and fellow free agent DeMarre Carroll, also newly acquired) welcoming them to the team. Fans, friends and media flocked the entrance to congratulate Joseph.
‘I’ve dreamed about it’ Joseph responded when asked if he ever thought about playing for the Raptors. ‘I thought I was a Raptor outside on my driveway when I was shooting hoops.
