There is a unique perspective that Khem Birch brings to the Raptors and a wealth of valuable experience and knowledge he can impart.
As unlikely as it seems, the young Montreal-born Birch is the second oldest player on the roster, one who blossomed late in his career, someone who stuck through lean times to find his niche and a role that suits him. He’s an example for his young teammates to follow.
“Yeah, I’m old,” Birch said with a laugh this week. “It makes me feel great. We have young guys: Precious (Achiuwa) is a very talented player.
