It’s a willingness to do the work and to trust in the people making the suggestions and devising the plan that has gotten Dalano Banton to this point in his nascent NBA career.
And given the strides he has made from his rookie season to now, there’s every reason to think the native of Rexdale will keep improving his varied skills.
He is a far better shooter, a more in-control point guard and a more disciplined threat off the ball, all because of the work he did and the instruction he got in the off-season.
“We’ve worked with some (shooting) technique and mechanics things with him to move (the ball) a little bit to where he can shoot the ball a bit straighter and things like that,” Raptors coach Nick Nurse said Monday night in Detroit.
