Considering that about a year ago now Chris Boucher was worried he was playing himself out of an NBA job, the turnaround for the veteran Raptor big man has been quite something.
Not only has Boucher emerged as a staple for the team off the bench — a source of near constant energy and effort — the 29-year-old is serving as an example to his teammates.
They see him work and are dragged along.
They see his speed and ratchet up their own tempo.
They just try to keep up.
“He’s been very professional,” Raptors coach Nick Nurse said this week.
