The Lorenzo Brown experiment could lead the 905 to another minor-league title

Point guard has been an emergency fill-in for the Raptors, and a possible MVP in the G League.

Lorenzo Brown was a bit of a basketball-playing guinea pig, a willing basketball-playing guinea pig mind you, but an experiment nonetheless.

The 27-year-old point guard was one of the first players signed to an NBA/G League two-way contract last summer and neither he nor the Toronto Raptors and their minor-league affiliate, Raptors 905, could have predicted how it would turn out.
