It has been more than two months since the Raptors touched down in Florida to begin their post-shutdown training camp at Florida Gulf Coast University.
And to say their first foray into pandemic-era basketball has gone well would be an understatement. It’s not just that the Raptors have posted the best record in the bubble, or that they won their first-round playoff series in a laughably easy sweep over the Brooklyn Nets, reeling off a preposterous 100 points off the bench in the clincher.
The Raptors have won the NBA restart on so many other levels. The organization won when it drove a pair of buses emblazoned with “Black Lives Matter” across the Sunshine State.
