In their second Summer League matchup, the Toronto Raptors took on the Denver Nuggets, coming from behind to secure their second win. On a positive note, this means they’re already doing better than last year, and Summer League playoff hopes remain alive. The Raptors started Ochai Agbaji, Branden Carlson, Gradey Dick, Ja’Kobe Walter, and Jamal Shead again, hoping for a similar result to last night. Despite a back and forth game, and injuries to Gradey Dick and Johnathan Mogbo, the Raptors managed to hold on in the final moments of the game.
Denver had already lost their first game by 10 points to the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday.
