Selfless play is a central theme for Raptors’ Marc Gasol

The thought that there are athletes who have a bit of selfishness to them, that there are those who are as interested in personal accomplishments as team success, was so foreign to Marc Gasol that he had a hard time even comprehending it.

“I can’t control what other athletes have in mind,” the Raptors centre said. “I can only control what I have in my mind. My personal goals are all attached to the team goals.”
