Season Grade: D+
Jason Thompson was the mid-season roster replacement (after being cut from the Golden State Warriors about a week earlier) for the struggling Anthony Bennett. Thompson wasn’t able to defend or stretch the floor. One of the two seems to be required in the NBA now if you want to play power forward. In 15mpg, Thompson averaged 4.6ppg (on 48.5% shooting from the field), 4.2rpg, and 0.6bpg over the course of 19 games. His numbers don’t look too bad, but you have to factor in a lot of his minutes came in garbage time.
