His Raptors teammates admire Malachi Flynn for his patience and professionalism, as frustrating as that may be for a young player trying to carve out an NBA niche.
And lately, the young guard has earned more of that respect and appreciation because he’s answered the call when coach Nick Nurse made it.
“It feels good,” Flynn said of the very public and consistent support he gets from his teammates. “It’s satisfying for sure to see guys want you to succeed. I feel the same about them so it feels good.”
Flynn has played more in the last six Raptors games than he had in the six weeks previous, averaging nearly 27 minutes a game.
