The point guard is sidelined with a labral tear in his right shoulder, presenting an opportunity for Fred VanVleet.
Delon Wright’s second season with the Toronto Raptors won’t start until at least December, the team announced on Monday. Their point guard underwent arthroscopic shoulder stabilization to fix a labral tear in his right shoulder and is expected to be out of action a minimum of four months, the club said in a press release.
Wright dislocated his shoulder on July 16, in the fourth quarter of a Summer League game in Las Vegas against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
