Raptors waive Lorenzo Brown before contract deadline

The Raptors waived guard Lorenzo Brown, hours before the deadline to guarantee the rest of his one-year contract.

Brown’s deal is worth $1,621,415 (all dollars U.S.) with $800,000 guaranteed. The remainder, per league rules, would have to be paid if he was on the roster after 5 p.m. ET on Monday.
