So far 2018 feels extremely comfortable. I don’t mean that weather-wise, because of course it has been miserable outside as of late. And I don’t mean in relation to what’s actually going on in the world because, uh, have you read the news lately? But I do mean in the incredibly specific example of the Toronto Raptors — with them, everything is peachy keen.
Case in point: the whole roster is healthy, DeMar DeRozan just won Player of the Week (again), each and every game brings out an opportunity for some cast of characters, or perhaps a solo performer, to emerge the hero.
