It is a testament to the formidable skills of Giannis Antetokounmpo that there were suggestions that the Toronto Raptors had somehow limited the brilliant Milwaukee Bucks guard-forward-centre in a decisive Game 5 win in their NBA playoff series on Monday night.
The guy had 30 points, shot 12-for-18 from the field, added eight rebounds, three assists, three blocked shots and three steals and it was like, “yeah, we found a way to corral him.”
That’s just how good the 6-11, 22-year-old is and if there’s a key to Game 6 of the series that goes on Thursday night in Milwaukee, it’s that Toronto has to stop him from having a truly astonishing night.
