The Raptors are reaching Down Under to fill one of their vacant coaching roles.
Trevor Gleeson, a former two-time coach of the year with the Perth Wildcats in the Australian Basketball League, is poised to join Nick Nurse’s Toronto staff, according to NBA sources.
The 53-year-old Gleeson coached the Wildcats to five NBL championships in eight seasons, compiling a 171-98 record overall over eight seasons and was named coach of the year in Australia in 2011 with the Townsville Cougars and 2021 with the Wildcats.
