Raptors’ three-pointers: Anunoby, Flynn and Thomas impress in pre-season opener

The 20-0 run the Raptors gave up in the first quarter might have caused some anxious moments Saurday night, but they settled down quickly to dispatch the Charlotte Hornets 111-100 to open their NBA pre-season.

It was a typical opening night of the pre-season. Norm Powell was the only starter to play even a minute in the second half as coach Nick Nurse ran through 16 players over the course of the game.

Matt Thomas had 16 points and Terence Davis II 13 for Toronto.

The same teams meet in another pre-season game on Monday.
