Raptors sign 2 more players, defying recent history

The Toronto Raptors announced the addition of two new players to the roster this week. Jordan Crawford and Yanick Moreira will attend training camp, though the odds of them making the final cut are astronomical.

Crawford played quite respectably for the Raptors’ summer league entry. He’s best described as a combo guard, though I see him as more comfortable at the point. Jordan is big enough at 6’5″ and 215 lbs. to function as a defensive stopper against smaller guards, and has sufficient offense to be pesky.

Crawford will be 26 when next season opens and has never played a minute in an NBA game.
