Raptors show signs of a rebound with their best lineup starting to take shape

It’s a bit of a stretch to say it gets easier for the Raptors, as they try to recover from injuries and absences and disruptions that have come fast and furious since the NBA season began.

But it is fair to say it gets more familiar each time. The ability to regroup, regather, get back to normal comes more quickly, more seamlessly.

It is why there is a quiet sense of optimism around the team. Tempered by the realities of COVID-19 and the injuries that arise even in the most normal of NBA seasons, of course, but optimism nonetheless.
