Raptors’ second unit has first-class mix of skills talent

It’s not like members of the vaunted second unit of the Toronto Raptors huddle together the morning of a game to choose who might get the glory once the action starts.

But it’s not too far off.

They do recognize that one night it might be one guy who stars, the next night another and a third night could well be someone else’s opportunity and they know that’s a large part of what makes them special.

“That’s the biggest thing,” C.J. Miles said after scoring a season-high 25 points in another bench-dominated win, this time over the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday.
