The Toronto Raptors announced Thursday their 2016-17 regular season schedule. The club will tip-off its 22nd season in the National Basketball Association at Air Canada Centre on Wednesday, October 26 at 7:30 p.m. versus the Detroit Pistons. This marks the seventh time in the past eight seasons and the 16th time in team history the club has started the regular season at home. Toronto’s road debut is set for Wednesday, November 2 at Washington.
The October 26 start and April 12 finale will be the earliest in club history. The previous earliest start to a season was October 27 in 2010-11 and the earliest conclusion was April 13 in 2010-11 and 2015-16.
