Maybe the defensive coverages are shoddy and assignments are missed but they zip the ball around on offence well enough to stay in touch until they get the necessary stops. Maybe they can’t make a shot for a while but they defend well enough to keep games close until the offence gets untracked.
It is a trait they’ve displayed for a few years now: a poised, veteran team that waits out predictable lulls on one end of the floor until they get it right.
