Toronto Raptors president Masai Ujiri is holding his annual year-end news conference this morning at 11 a.m. at OVO Athletic Centre.
It’s the first time Ujiri will be available to answer the media’s questions since the Raptors won the franchise’s first NBA championship.
Ujiri finished fourth in voting for executive of the year on Monday, despite pulling off moves that led to the league title, including a blockbuster trade that landed the Raptors a superstar in Kawhi Leonard and obtaining veteran centre Marc Gasol in a deadline deal.
Milwaukee Bucks general manager Jon Horst won the award, which was voted on by fellow executives at the end of the regular season.
