Toronto Raptors president Masai Ujiri is being investigated over a possible altercation with a sheriff’s deputy, according to multiple media reports.
Amid the elation of the franchise’s first ever NBA title Thursday night, Ujiri was allegedly caught up in a confrontation with an officer.
NBC’s Bay Area affiliate has reported that a deputy with Alameda County Sheriff’s Office was pushed and allegedly struck in the face as Ujiri, the Raptors president of basketball operations, tried to rush onto the court at Oracle Arena in the moments after the team clinched the title with a Game 6 victory.
