The Raptors are no longer one of the few NBA teams to avoid being hit hard by the latest COVID-19 surge.
Pascal Siakam and Dalano Banton were placed in the league’s health and safety protocols before the Raptors played the Golden State Warriors at Scotiabank Arena on Saturday night.
Siakam and Banton could miss 10 days, which would take them out of the lineup through the next three games and allow them to return in Toronto on Dec. 28 against the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Raptors had mostly escaped the rash of positive tests that are ravaging the NBA right now.
