It’s almost akin to a game of “anything you can do, I can do better” but without any maliciousness.
The three-headed Toronto Raptors monster of DeMarre Carroll, Terrence Ross and Norm Powell has been engaged in a little bit of one-upmanship of late that’s been beneficial to all individually, and to the franchise as a whole.
Powell got it going with a dominant 20-point, five-steal gem in a spot start Friday in Boston; Carroll returned from that night off to jumpstart Toronto’s rout of the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday; and Ross carried the torch home, lighting up the Bucks for a season-high 25 points while being as disruptive defensively as he has been all season.
